(先ほどの日本語を、拙いものではありますが、英訳してみました。読んでいただけると、幸いでございます)
Thank you for your answer last time. Let me make a few comments about that, as I was a little surprised.
You mentioned that you had discarded all of your books, which I find a bit wasteful. For my part, I still have four copies of your books, two of which are published by NHK, and the other two are academic papers published by the university (but I have not read the latter two, because the content is very difficult. (I'll keep them just as a commemoration.)
Why I can provide such abundant example sentences is that I use an electronic dictionary. By utilizing the example sentence search function, I can find example sentences I want from three English-Japanese comprehensive dictionaries, an English-Japanese utilization comprehensive dictionary, a Japanese-English comprehensive dictionary, and three English-English dictionaries. For example, by giving the search term "rings around," I was able to provide such many example sentences as I did last time. I also make use of online English-English dictionaries and other resources. It has become a convenient time indeed.
I was really surprised to hear that you are moving to Hawaii, as I thought you would stay in Japan forever. I'm truly impressed by your spirit to go abroad again. But Hawaii might not be as high a hurdle for you as I imagine, as it's like a second home to you. On the other hand, I do have concerns about your access to your medical care and social security in Japan. But since it's you, I believe you won't overlook those matters.
I look forward to receiving even more refined answers from you in your new base in Hawaii in the future. Thank you very much for everything.
